I'm learning this. How great and wonderful, creative and meaningful home can be. Here's my attempt to make it so. I'm Stephanie. The writer behind this blog, This Kind Handyman and I. We're fixing our old one-and-a-half storey home room by room. I'm an eager student of what makes a space beautiful, while also learning how to live a beautiful life. 

In the fall of 2013, we brought two wonderful children along for the ride, who joined this couple through adoption and made us a family of four. They bring these rooms to life more than anything and we're so grateful for it (although, I'm a fan of the quiet too). They inspire me to create an inspirational home and life. 

And my handyman. How could I ever do this without him? He's this blog's biggest fan and most frequent reader, he will never be beat.
