So grateful for moments away like this.

Lazy days at the beach were less than lazy...

Between pickle-ball and volleyball, swimming in the waves, and cooking meals over fires.

But in between it all rests my favorite moment of all... my nephew's discovery and bonding with this furry caterpillar.

Beyond precious, yes?

The wonder of it all had this girl slowing her steps.

And taking it all in.

From steady rain, to warm tea, and white tipped waves...

And time talking on soft sand with dear, dear friends... who refresh your spirit...

Tidying and washing fire-scented clothes today...

And breathing in deep all these memories and smells.

And it's just the beginning, right? Of this 2013 summer... we have so much more of you to enjoy.
